Coverage Coalition
Barton F. Graf

To make up for the lost ad budget (90%) for the Affordable Care Act, Barton created Coverage Coalition to get the word out and ask agencies to donate time and media space to make up that 90%. The aesthetics of this campaign is a Barton Design Department original and I'm extremely proud of my team for the work and creativity. We were inspired by Lester Beall's posters for the Rural Electrification Administration, FDR's 1935 New Deal initiative to bring electricity to rural areas. Because backing up your neighbor is what American's did for each other in 1935 and what we do today.

Awards: Gold Pencil/The One Club, Bronze Clio
