A Public Space Magazine / Brand Identity and design Roger & Co.

We were honored when former Paris Review editor Brigid Hughes tasked Roger & Co. with creating the identity and layout of her new literary magazine, A Public Space.

The challenge of not only building a brand but tackling the science of bookstore marketing influenced the small, but proud magazine to elbow it's way off the shelves and into customers hands.

In addition, creating a working, legible grid system, choosing the proper typefaces and identifiers throughout the magazine proved to be a rewarding experience. In the end, A Public Space ended up with a well-respected brand and magazine that can be read comfortably for hours on end.
